Fátima, the path of Faith
Today, Fátima is a world-renowned place of pilgrimage, visited by more than five million people each year. Aimed at those who wish to share their spirituality in the Sanctuary of Fátima, this half-day tour offers contemplation through a visit to the most emblematic spaces of the Sanctuary, with free time to walk and do some shopping.
The Chapel of the Apparitions, the heart of the Sanctuary
Arriving at the Sanctuary, we begin our visit to the little Chapel of the Apparitions where the original statue of Our Lady of Fatima is located. Here was a small holm oak, the exact location on which the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to the three little shepherds, Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta, in 1917.
Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima, the home of the little shepherds
Encompassing the Sanctuary, facing the prayer hall, embraced by an imposing Colonnade, we find the old Basilica. A privileged place of worship for millions of worshipers, where the three shepherds are now buried.
Basilica of the Holy Trinity
At the opposite end of the Basilica of the Rosary is the modern Basilica devoted to the Holy Trinity, whose circular shape and impressive dimension welcomes more than 8633 worshipers.
After the guided tour, for those who seek interior and personal prayer or to discover more details of the Sanctuary, there will be free time to spend as you wish.
