We’ll get to know the heritage bequeathed by Queen Leonor, founder of the world’s first Thermal Hospital in the 15th century, from which Caldas da Rainha developed. During the visit we’ll come across a vibrant city, where you can breathe in the art of ceramics, especially through the unparalleled work left by Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro, and where you can feel the pulse of its people and traditions, visible in the traditional commerce, such as the Praça da Fruta, a daily open-air market throughout the year.

Óbidos has preserved its history and charm and is now one of the most unique and visited towns in the country. The castle walls, accessed through the Porta da Vila, embrace a labyrinth of streets and white houses that transport us back to medieval times, and every nook and cranny of Óbidos offers something to discover.
