Founded in 1178 by the Order of Cîteaux, whose knowledge and development has always been linked to these lands, there are many historical and artistic aspects that we will discover throughout the visit to the Monastery.

We highlight the most beautiful, and tragic Portuguese love story, the story of D. Pedro and D. Inês, both buried in two sumptuous tombs that deserve an attentive look.

This is a two hours experience developed in an atelier outside of the city. Experience how to make a Portuguese Azulejo (tile), one of the most traditional things that we have in our region.
